FC Cincinnati – TQL Stadium
The FC Cincinnati (FCC) stadium broke ground in December 2018. Foundation work, Steel work, and Roof installation took place over 15 months. LOTH was selected over four other dealers to partner with The Parker Company, Machete Group, and Populous (global design firm) in the fall of 2020 as plans progressed for the new, elite MLS stadium located in the West End neighborhood of Cincinnati.
A Custom Solution
The LOTH team worked closely with all key project partners to meet the client’s performance requirements, budget, and very defined timeline. During a visit to the Cincinnati Work Studio, designers reviewed demo samples of the proposed furniture pieces with the FCC team to sit, test, and show quality.
FCC took design inspiration from Cincinnati hotspots such as Madtree + Boca among others to create a mix of casual and modern venues within the Stadium. Keeping with the city of Cincinnati culture and MLS branding, the team produced a custom-solution designed for a high-traffic, commercial environment. It was important to the client to ‘work local’ so the solution even includes furniture produced here in Ohio!
LOTH went to work creating a 20+ manufacturer product blend that aesthetically aligned with the design intent shared by the project leaders. By leveraging the buying power with manufacturer partners + the volume of the product mix (1,900+ product pieces), LOTH was able to secure a significant cost savings of over $300K.
